Healthy Strawberry Sorbet

Husband and I have been using this super-healthy homemade dessert to cool off this week.

We are back on our no-bread and no-sugar thing for awhile. It is no fun whatsoever... until I get on the scale in the morning - then its a lot of fun. Anyhow, its not forever, just for now. This little dessert however, makes me forget I've given up anything.

Healthy Strawberry Sorbet

Per person:
6-9 strawberries
juice from 1/2 lemon (approx. 1 Tbsp)
2 Tbsp stevia (or other sugar substitute)

1. Cut the tops off of the strawberries and then toss them in a blender (The strawberries, not the tops.
The tops you can throw away.). Add lemon juice and stevia. Puree until smooth.

2. Pour into a tupperware and put in freezer. After one hour, give it a good stir. Then check it after another hour to see if it is to your desired firmness. I like it when its still a bit slushy.

Serve in adorable little sorbet cups and you'll never even miss the sugar. Enjoy!
